Max Payne disappears

when i click to play tutorial it runs alright for a few seconds then suddenly max disappears leaving just his gun running around in midair(this is the same for the enemies)so i can't see what i'm shooting at.also i get graphical glitches like objects going transparent etc.i get exactly the same thing in the main game by the way.my specs are as follows:
thunderbird 1000mhz
geforce2 mx400
128ram
win98se
i also have all latest drivers.
PLEASE HELP AS I HAVN'T EVEN BEEN ABLE TO PLAY IT YET!.

Go into the setup area when you first run the program. Pick options and where it says "Screen Buffers", change it from triple to double.

Calm down mate. I would reccoment reinstalling the game and the drivers of your GPU.
Lower the resolution or things like that mate.

i've tried everything mate,resolution,driver reinstall,graphics options u name it i've done it.

how do u work that out i have plenty of ram!

The problem is yer GPU but it also be a Ram problem! Try putting a mates GPU on it( a good one) and see if the problem is solved. If not then is probably your RAM.

Post your complete specs mate. Mobo, how many and type of ram...
