View Full Version : My personal ode to Duke

Hey guys,

Now I can't claim to have lurked this forum. But as many I was a secret admirer. My first words of English (being from Belgium) were garbled phrases from Duke Nukem, to great dismay of my fourth grade teacher. And it took some time before I realized what an "Algee eeter' really meant.

I am a casual Starcraft commentator, giving a comedy twist to really really bad players who just rejoice when they see one of their games commentated on the Internet. In a flurry of boredom, I decided to start playing Duke and commentating it in no way ever seen before. My croaky fake British accent coupled with the actual difficulty of the game combine to form not 'yet another let's play'.

With all the commotion surrounding DNF I found my way here. And I though - what a perfect way to leech some more views for my videos!
So, without further ado: my shameless self promotion!

It's still an ongoing series, having completed the first Episode and now starting on Lunar Apocalypse. It's not a walkthrough or a speedrun, not even a guide. It's just me having fun (and also for the first time playing the game without using saved games to rake up the ammo - when I die, I start from scratch at the start of the level, and I don't cut out anything - although long re-plays of the level are sped up)

hope you guys enjoy watching me suffer.
