Can't install editor

I just recently bought Max Payne and installed it. It runs just fine on my computer. The problem is when I went to install the editor. It said there was an error with my cab files not matching. I deleted all the files in my installation folder but it still gave me the error. Also when it goes to install the MaxEd file it has a "catastrophic error" and stops installation immediately. I wrote the tech support but got no response. Does anyone know what this may be?

Someone at the PayneReactor forums had a problem installing the editor too. I sent him my editor from the CD and it worked fine. I think it's a problem with the CD or something.
