Hey omer_blu,
If you can just return the game, or get a
newer vid card. Cause it looks like the lack of
official drivers are the problem. And since
the company (3dfx) went belly up, they ain't
commin'. i've had it for a while now and can't get it to run on my system. I've tried everything on thisforum that's been suggested and nuthin'.
You might try using some unofficial
drivers (www.voodoofiles.com), but i won't,
use my PC too much for work/school/personal stuff
to afford any possible down time.
If you do figure something out let us VooDoo
owners know. Thanks.
P.S.
Here's my original post, to this problem- it's
a reply to a post started by TEDY:
Hey Sami, I own a Voodoo 3 3k AGP and i get the same message after the intro plays. I've tried everything for over a month to get this thing running, went far back into this message board
and "can't get it up" and running. I have a shuttle MOBO with a Duron 750, DX8a, latest drivers for VooDoo (1.07), sound, 256MB Ram.
Other games run perfect and fast. It seems to me that systems w/ VooDoo/AMD CPU combos don't seem to like this game (just by readying all the posts). I hope i didn't WASTE $50(us)+tax on this
game. I know these Voodoo cards are older and the company is now gone, but i'm sure there are a lot
of gamers like us out there having problems.
Any advice to this problem would be greatly appreiciated.

Just checking, did you try to put on "Double Buffering" instead of the default "Triple buffering"?
3dfx cards are kind of problematic due to the lack of any new official driver support. :-P

Shouldn't the solution just be setting the buffer to double?
