Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime Error!

Million Dollar Question;

I have installed MaxPayne and MaxED both. I have just recently started to use MaxED to build levels. Ever since i started useing it, i have been getting this error "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime Error!" I have updated my ststem from Microsoft's site and had no resolve.

This problem happens after i have built and exported a level, then exit MaxED. When I try to run MaxED again, i get this error message. I have un-installed and re-installed both MaxPayne and MaxED several times and this problem is still there. Only one program that is affected by this bug is MaxED, all of the othere Max programs work fine. My only solution thus far is Formating my drive and re-installing windows all together. Please help me out, am i the only one that getts this error.

Hey Chief,
I hace the same problem as well. I work under Win ME. It's the same message. I tried to set the Ed on Win2000 I get another error message. Tries to locate a folder under database folder. But such a folder has never created in my HDD. If you can find any soultions can you also forward me?
