Saw this today. It is a indie sci-fi flick with good reviews. Indie meaning low budget, so don't look for awesome effects. All the same it has a great story reminiscent of 2001, among other movies. Only one theater in my area had it. If you have it nearby you should see it. Much better than all the high budget drivel that hollywood has been putting out.

Been waiting awhile for this one. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I, like you, have only one theatre showing it, but at the end of the month. :(

It's playing at a film festival here in a month or so (it's getting a wider release later in the year). Been looking forward to it for a long time but I got too much of it spoiled for me. Damn poorly chosen promotional materials :P

The director is David Bowie's son, btw. I wish they played it here.

Ugh, I'm going to Newfoundland tomorrow and there's been no time for movies all weekend. What are the odds of a theater screening it there...

Cool, thanks for the heads up. The trailer looks and feels incredibly like 2001, I hope they at least give an acknowledgment to that. http://www.sonypictures.com/classics/moon/trailer.html The effects look great too.

Wow, that looks pretty cool! Wish it'd play round here somewhere... I'll probably have to wait for somekind of a release though.

Will the sequel be Sun? Or the prequel be called Earth?
None of the theatre in my area has it, sounds interesting.

Saw it last night at AMC in Oakville.
Good movie.
The score is insanely good, IMO. It really gives you the sense of loneliness and vast size of space.
The movie is only 95 minutes long and very dry. It's pretty much Sam Rockwell (whose acting was top notch in this) talking to a robot and himself. So if you have A.D.D., I wouldn't suggest watching it.
At one point, you might seem confused, but keep watching, it all makes sense in the end. It's done from Sam's perspective. So we only know what he knows.
