Will Max Payne 2's story connected to the first?

just wondering if the 2nd story will have some ties with the 1st game? its a very very good story line, movie like gameplay. i finish the game 5 times.

Let's follow the classical B-movie plot. He get's a friend... that person is most often african-american in movies but that doesn't matter here, he may be Russian images/icons/smile.gif He dies, of course. And he does revenge, killing everyone in his path. Or that girly... maybe they have some sweet lovin, she get's wasted... mr Payne is very angry... I also wonder how the hell Max Payne can register to a hotel or anything, nobody is gonna believe his name is Max Payne, but I guess that's his last care images/icons/wink.gif

I hope Aesir corp, Mona, Woden and Vladimir are all in the Max Payne 2 story. Especially Mona!! (Drools) Also be cool if you could play Mona, Woden and Vladimir in an area specially designed for them and work it into the story somehow. (Anticipation!!) Of course they couldn't use bullet time like Max... They'd have thier own special ability. images/icons/shocked.gif Did anyone ever do the Mona level we talked about on the forums here awhile back? I gotta install Max Payne... graemlins/hhg.gif

Vladimir was cool! He fit right in not being involve with the drug trade and all that. Mona was Max's equal. She kicked his butt and he was still smiling after it was over. Woden kinda has me with the question,"What's he really about?"

i think they should jsut stick with you being max, i dislike the idea of being any other character.
