Problems with vmm

Hi
I have big problems with max Payne, I have been able to play max pain joust a few times, most of the times the when I run Max a Blue screen appears that says something about a VMM problem and some other times the game joust locks up when loading, y I disabled the sound Acceleration (at DX Daig) and it worked joust one time, at the next day all the problems got back…
I need help!!

320 RAM
Ge Force2 MX 100/200 32MB
Sound Blaster Live 5.1

well yes Im running other programs on the background like the virus protection (norton) and some other stuff like mouse software something about the cd Writer etc...

What do I do?
