Just tried the trial on Xbox live, and I am adding points right now to buy the full game. Everybody needs to do themselves a favor and check this game out. Side scrolling hasn't been this much fun in a while.

Hey that game looks really fun, reminds me of Earthworm Jim in a strange, strange way.

Hey, I played the demo of this when it first came out, and thought it was a cute game, but at the time passed on buying it. Too many other games. Glad I did now.

This week it's on sale on XBLA for $5 (400 MSP). At that price it's a freakin' steal.

This game plays EXACTLY like Commander Keens 4-6. The only difference really is that the main character is a "flame man" and he explodes. Keen jumps up on a pogo stick. But other than that, it's the EXACT SAME dynamic of game play.

If you liked the Keen games you should run SCREAMING for this game at the $5 price.

That's gotta be one of the best side scrollers I've seen.

I heard that it has awards for Avatars as well as gamerpics. I know it has gamerpics because I bought it on Day 1 (for 800 msp :(), but is there Avatar awards in it?

It's one of the best games of last year. Hilarious. 4 player co op is a blast too.

It was definitely one of my favorite games to be released last year. It seemed like a lot of people skipped over it which is a damned shame.

Well, there are literally dozens of amazing xbla games, including the 'splosion man which do not receive any attention here at all, not to speak of the many recent and great 360 generic titles that also pass without being even mentioned anywhere here. So, yeah 'splosion man is great game indeed, however there are far more and awesome xbla games that are not less, maybe even better. I for once have purchased and collected some 75 full titles sofar, which I cosider indispensable to me.

Yes. There's both avatar awards and gamerpic unlocks.
