Wasn't a new patch coming out?

correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember seeing a reply by Joe from 3DR in a post saying that a 1.02 patch was on the way. What I want to know is when is that patch coming out? is it still in the works, or was it just a source of false hope?

Yes, there's a 1.02 patching coming out - Monday.

The only thing it fixes is the taskbar issue. Most everything else can be fixed with the help available in the FAQ that is linked at the top of the forum.

What do I do if I've applied all your recommended fixes and the game still crashes? Refund me my money?

yes but applying all these measures in the FAQ just to play the game is very annoying..the *solutions* in the FAQ should be regarded as workarounds until they are fixed in a patch.
