I'm curious when Remedy and 3D Realms are going to start offering refunds to buyers of this God awful game? Btw, I've followed all the "fixes" listed on this site and nothing seems to work. I'm in customer service, if I provided the level of service equal to yours, I'd be out of a job.

Maybe you would like that the remedy crew to come to your house and reprogram the game so that it can run on your pc.

Try postingswhat is wrong instead of making remarks about how awfull their support is. there are people around here who do try to help.

The problems with this game are mild compared to many,many releases. One game in particular comes to mind and that was Deus Ex. My favorite game of all time and last years Game of the year.

When the game first came out and during subsequent months there were problems up the whazoo for anyone even trying to use D3D to run the game. The forum was ablaze with problems and rants. It took more than 6 months to even get the first patch from Ion Storm.

The bottom line is that computer games are not an exact science. They are gonna have problems with all the different config's out there. The game companys contrary to popular belief are not staffed with people to sit here and wait for trouble's of the users to be posted. They do however try. When you buy a computer game it's a little bit of a dice roll. You take you chances that the software is of a good quality and also that your own computer savy is up to snuff enough to get it going should there be problems.

Thats one of the reasons these BB's are set up. To handle the overflow of problems. Sharing info on here is how alot of troubles can be remedy(ed) images/icons/grin.gif

Anyhow, now that you have vented your steam. Hows about you tell us what the bad computer game did to your system images/icons/tongue.gif j/k
