View Full Version : C&C 4 EALA's last title before shutdown?

C&C 4 looks horrible, I think we can all agree on that... the worst unit design ever in a RTS, and graphically just bad...

I heard that EA's restructering plan is going to affect EALA badly... with maybe a complete shutdown after C&C4...

Sad day for RTS gamers...

I've been a lifelong fan of the C&C series and liked them all, RA3 included...
it is a great mistake of EA to shutdown this studio because they are able to create quality (if given the time for polish!!)

c&c4 looks awfull on the other hand, they just should have fired the design and concept artist team on this game :)

CnC games aren't known to be actually good or polished. It's mostly just nostalgia and the videos with actors between campaign missions. ;)

Anyway EA making CnC4 feels like beating a dead horse. Calling it Tiberian Twilight makes it blasphemy.

In the expansion pack for Tiberian Twilight, NOD will have a base on the moon for some reason which will have to be destroyed and they will call it "Tiberian Twilight: Nuke Moon".

Well, the first one was Tiberian Dawn so it's only natural for the last one to be called Tiberian Twilight (cause Dusk sounds dumb).

I think the point is that Westwood should have been making Tiberian Twilight, not EA. Which is kinda stupid anyway, considering Tiberian Sun wasn't all that great, but whatever.

Red Alert 1 & 2 are the only games in the CnC family I actually enjoyed :o

Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert 1 are the good games in the series. Everything else has been pretty disappointing for me.

i tried playing red alert a few years ago and i couldn't do it. now i tried playing red alert 3 recently and i cant do it...

First C&C is one of my favorite games of all time. Red Alert was cool too.

Despite what everyone else thinks, Generals was actually a pretty sweet game. Other than that..there really wasnt anything interesting. And this looks almost carbon of C&C3.

The C&C franchise doesn't have much to go on. The first one was interesting if not fairly simple. Red Alert was better but the rest after that didn't really go anywhere and/or match what was originally created.
