I recently built my own PC. Here are the specs:
Mobo: SY-K7V Dragon (Soyo)
Chipset: VIA KT-266(8366/8233)
Processor: AMD Athalon 1.4Ghz
RAM: 256Mb DDR
Video: VisionTek GeForce2 64Mb AGP
Audio: On-board CMI 8738
CD-ROM: Creative Labs 52X
O/S: WIN98SE
I'm using (2) 10Gb HD in a "RAID 0" configuration.
The problem is that when I install MP, it locks up at random percentages. The whole PC locks up, so I have to do a "hard" reboot. At first I thought it was my CD-ROM, but I'm able to install other games. I heard that there is a compatability issue with my motherboard, primaraly with the VIA KT-266 chipset. Has anyone heard or experienced this problem. Please help!
thanks,
Kevin
