We've had many version of Duke Nukem 3D released plus many add-ons. Just an idea would be for a Duke Nukem 3D Ultimate Edition. It would include the game of course plus all the latest updates. Include with it the add-ons and expansions Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach, Duke it out in D.C., Duke: Nuclear Winter, Duke Xtreme, Duke!Zone, Duke!Zone II and Duke Assault. It can also include all the extra features from the console versions like the Saturn, Mega Drive and Xbox Live versions (excluding the Nintendo 64 version). Plus it can include the popular fan-made High Resolution Pack which players could choose to play the game with the High Resolution Pack turned on or with the original graphics.
This would be the ultimate Duke Nukem 3D compilation ever! :D

I'd buy an official boxed Duke Nukem 3D Ultimate Collection. Even if it's only as a last hurrah for 3D Realms. R.I.P. Duke Nukem.

I would buy that, maybe on one of the consoles. Idk about you guys, but I find coaches and Lazy boy chairs to be more comfrotable than a stiff computer chair.

You already had the Kill-A-Ton Collection, but who knows if they're even still doing anything with that.

Kill-A-Ton isn't perfect, the Caribbean add-on is missing and it contains too much crappy shovelware.

I figure Kill-A-Ton was meant to be that kind of collection, but as Iggy said it isn't perfect.

I only played Duke Atomic Edition. Was Duke it out in D.C., Duke: Nuclear Winter, Duke Xtreme, Duke!Zone, Duke!Zone II and Duke Assault released as commercial add-ons packs? Where can you find them nowadays?

These Duke items can be bought on eBay or other auction sites.
Like this collection that just ended here. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200429063914) Even though the auction title states "Every Title" this is not accurate.
If you only want to play the games themselves and have no interest in the boxes, packaging etc, the jewel case and bare disk copies are generally inexpensive compared to these boxed copies sought after by collectors.
You might find this (http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=23312) thread of interest where some of this is talked about and lists of such things are posted, including my own.

If we need anything, we need a totally remade Duke3D in today's graphics! I don't have anything against all of these Duke3D ports coming out lately, but if there's going to be anymore coming out, then I hope to see it with updated graphics, etc. Scott says a Duke Nukem resurgence is coming. Maybe there's something like that on their to-do list.

I am all for that. My expansions don't seem to be able to find the source game I got from 3D Realms i.e. Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic.

I have those expansions but I don't know how to get them to find the source game (Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic) on my PC. If you know how please tell me.

Dos box.
Anyway you can always use ports.
Maybe you meant using a update graphic port to sell the game, not Eduke.
Just use the HRP.

Knowing this is not gonna happen, what I'd like to see is a patch that makes all the episodes appear at the same time with the add-ons.
You know, normally after installing Duke Out in D.C. the episode selection would look like this:
LA Meltdown
Lunar Apocalypse
Duke it Out in D.C.
The Birth
I mean, the add-on will replace one of the original episodes. I'll like some kind of patch that would make the episode menu selection look like this:
L.A. Meltdown
Lunar Apocalypse
Shrapnel City
The Birth
Duke it Out in D.C.
Duke Caribbean
Nuclear Winter
...and the bunch of episodes from the Duke!Zone and so on...
That'd be cool, so I could have all the episodes in one folder and in one executable :p.
If any of the people present here know how to do this....... could you do it, please:insomnia::(?

Uh, Polymer...
As cool as Polymer is... No, thats definitly not the same kind of thing as Duke 3D "Remade" from the ground up with todays graphics. Though honestly for me the graphics are less important, implementing more in depth interactivity, physics, and AI would be higher on my list. EG: Aliens working as teams against you, making use of the enviroment to kill your opponents, realistic reactions upon blowing out a wall of a building.
Best example would be, say, Resident Evil vs REmake on gamecube.

But it is a new engine made from the ground up, did you not see the thread on D4N documenting Polymers history?

Yes, but like I said, its not the same thing at all. First off its not a professional attempt, second - the goal is to enhance Duke 3D, not rebuild it from the ground up.

Yes, I do. Polymer is not the same thing as something like, say, Blackmesa ; Source compared to the original Half-Life.
