Lost all sound in game after patch v1.02

Everything was fine except for the random freeze exiting to desktop. Now that I've installed the new patch I lost all sound in the game. What gives? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've also re-installed the game but no difference.

The v1.02 patch doesn't have any sound changes at all. images/icons/confused.gif
