Keybord control problem

I cannot use any of F keys. I also cannot figure out how one can quit the game without rebooting?
I read the manual and FAQ - no answer.

Setup:
PIII 700 256M 25G free
Windows XP Pro

Can someone help me because without "quick save", "quick load" and normal exit playing is "Max Pain"!

its funny when people ask for assistance, but they have to tell the tech support people that they stoel an operating system! haha

As far as we know, all the XP's that had this problem were 'beta 2'. The Release Candidate versions of XP should not produce this problem.
