I just stumpled upon some exciting news!

Lorne Lanning the genious behind the Oddworld games is coming back into the games business!

I read it at the end of the new games documentary movie Moral Kombat.

Well, the Oddworld Inhabitants page has been saying "New Site Coming Soon" for a few years now.

The latest news we got (From 2009) were already discussed here (http://forums.3drealms.com/vb/showthread.php?t=36556).

And they are (apparently) making a movie, based in a new universe, called "Citizen Ciege" or something like that :P

I very much enjoyed Abe's Exodus and Munch's Oddyssee. Unfortunately I missed out on Stranger's Wrath/any other Oddworld adventures. I'll keep an eye out.

We're also building in the Steam Achievements for the games (all four of them), so Steam players will get the added advantage as it relates to their larger network achievements. We wish we had done this upon initial release of the Abe games on Steam, but will fix going forward.
if they add the achievements to the original games, I will have to replay them.... :)

I owned Abe's Exodous for PC, and I had Abe's Odyssey for GBC. Used to love 'em. Never played any of the other games. I'll definitely stay tuned for this, though.
