Little question about MP2

I would be interested to know if Max Payne 2 continues the story immediately after the events of Max Payne or is it like X years after from Max Payne?

Or is this currently Area 51 information?

It will be just stupid to continue story after X years. I'm sure he'll escape imprisonment, because he has evidences. Why he had collected them then images/icons/wink.gif ?

I'm with what the guy on on top of this post said. Remember that video he Max collected? I thought it was going to be of use somehow in the end but he didn't use it and will obviously be used it in the sequel, somehow...

I think the whole MP2 will be based on one of the easter eggs in the hotel level. You know the one where you go out on the ledge and go into that one room with the guy with the stake in his back and the blood writing buff...

As it turns out the active ingredient in V is Vampire blood and max has to team up with buffy the vampire slayer to kill all of the junkies that turned into vampires. The one eyed man is a vampire hunter who is getting too old for hunting so the whole first game was him recruting max. The old witch is not dead because she was a vampire and mona is her little helper. Being a vampire as well she could get shot and not die. She is ofcourse attracted to max and wants to turn him into a vampire to overthrow her master the old witch.

So what do you all think.

I remember that while I was playing the game, Alfred Woden asked Max Payne to take out the Aesir Corp.'s boss and stuff, and that Alfred Wooden would take care of everythinf from there.
So...In Max Payne 2, Alfred Woden will probably take Max out of jail....and who knows what will happen from there
