Nice alternative to iTunes

SharePod (http://www.getsharepod.com/download/) is a freeware alternative to iTunes and can copy music, pictures and video to/from your iPhone, iPod or iPod Touch. It has a really nice interface and can do full backups and Restores. Check it out.

Sorry for being cynical here but whats the point of this program?. Its not like iTunes costs anything and its not all that hard to use but the thought of not having to use iTunes is nice.

The only problem with iTunes and iPods in general is that they dont have drag and drop functionality. I hate the fact that to put one song on your iPod, iTunes has to delete the library and put all the songs on again which sucks if you in a hurry.

So i would be happy if a program could do this or apple incorperates this into their next generation of iPod, iPhone etc...

A problem I have is that I can't just copy songs on the fly from my iPod back to my computer, it seems that SharePod would allow for this.

I know there are hidden MP3 files on the iPod, but they all have abstract names and I don't feel like checking them out just to find a song.
