Now lets face it the only card that has worked properly with MP is the TNT series your freind has a TNT the game runs fine I have a TNT 2 the works fine My friend Has a TNT 2 the game runs fine it seem that this game like tnt cards, i think you shoud do your self a favour and go out and buy a TNT 2 32MB or a TNT 2 64MB that is my mp crash theory that seems to be the MP likes only certain graphic cards. Im not saing that it could be other thing but it seems that 3D cards are the main problem images/icons/smile.gif

I trashed my TNT card. I had to play the game with all the setings on low to get a good frame rate.
The TNT/TNT2 cards don't support fast write, which is the biggest advantage of AGP.
I went out and got a Geforce 2 Ti card with 64 megs of DDR memory, and a 250 mhz processor. It is the best card short of the Geforce 3, and only costed me $150.
I know some will say the Geforce 2 Ultra is the second best, but benchmark tests that I've run on my computer show it above the Ultra.
I also raised the AGP reserved memory in my bios to 128. I had too for 32 bit textures to work.
