Max Payne: Can't choose New Game scanarios

I have got an odd problem. I start Max P, click new game and there I can't choose anything, there are four choices but i can't choose any. I completed the tourail and expected to finally choose the new game Fugitive, but no, I can't do anything else than train.
I did a full installation and checked the Max Payne folder. It was about 800 mb so I have those level files in my computer.

What's wrong images/icons/confused.gif

You can only pick the other game modes after you complete the game through the first time. Completing the tutorial does not count.

I think he is saying thay he cannot select any new game mode including Fugitive. All the game modes are grayed out.

Ive heard of this problem before but am unable to remember if theres a solution or not.

Yes, like hyte1 is saying, I cannot select any new game mode, including Fugitive.

And this is sopposed to be the official Max Payne forum...
I was expecting much more. hope someone can still help...

This sounds very strange, have you tried re-installing the game?

Yes I have tried that several times but with no luck
