Topic says it all.

Body armour. Been suggested before, but this vest would stop some pistol and Ingram bullets (it would lose effectiveness after being hit repeatedly though), and rifle rounds only lose some of their velocity.

To add to this- some enemies could wear body armour and so you'd have to go for a limb/head shot. Perhaps some "soldier" type enemies (assuming this fits into the storyline) could wear body armour and helmets. The helmets would be like the body armour in terms of stopping damage. One problem, coding in a face/neck shot would be a problem for the hitboxes.

*Alcohol. Can be a substitute for painkillers in places where there aren't any around, although too much and your vision blurs and becomes distorted. Your ability to dodge is impaired also. On the plus side, when taken in small doses, you become more relaxed and your accuracy increases slightly, plus you can perform moves faster as you're more relaxed (defies medical science but hey images/icons/grin.gif )

Any other suggestions for MP2 items?

I think you should be able to kill people with the power of your mind. You know, like in scanners. All you do is press the "Think real hard" button and all the bad guys heads start exploding... Or not.

how about replacing those pesky guns with some real weapons.....like "crazy mad kung-fu grip", or "tear-out-their-heart-and-eat-it grip", or maybe even crazy old "slow-time-for-no-apparent-reason-other-than-looking-cool grip"...

well it would have made sense until that last one graemlins/doh.gif
