What huge debts?. Also yeah they have no internal development team since they shut down that part of their business but 3D Realms has never been limited to internal development. I highly doubt we will see anything from 3DR at this E3, but we haven't seen the last game from 3D Realms yet, indeed their latest game was recently unveiled. Also since Jobi specifically has mentioned that he doesn't expect it to be DNF there is no reason to go down that road.

Yeah, a lot of good contenders for legends in the industry have been mentioned here. Peter Molyneux is another guy that is often mentioned in such a context.

That is an advance against the royalty stream of DNF and Duke Begins, the remainder of which(if ANY) only gets converted to a loan if DNF is not out by the end of 2012.

Peter Molyneux would be more like, legend for over hyping and not delivering anywhere close to his hype. :P

A lot of people share that opinion with you that is for sure, but he is certainly someone which many would put in the "legend" category. Along with many of those mentioned here. Tim Sweeney would be another contender. Although both he and Peter Molyneux would be unlikely in this case since we know about their next games already.

Yeah... their new studio, Respawn, announcing it's new game with EA.

Honestly, I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong and see someone I consider a legend in the industry come up... and announce something amazing.

But, GT calls people like Cliffy B legends. Praising Bungie for HALO... their views on what makes a developer "legendary" is completely warped from the view of people who have been following these old school developers for years upon years.
