View Full Version : It's incredible but Max payne run greats on my windows Xp

When I've installed windows Xp professional, I had a bit fear for the problem about compatibility with Max payne but I cpould say that it runs great on my "bad" system and it's better tahn Windows 2000, another thing is that i didn't use the software compatibility toolo to run it and another thing is that in windows Xp it use less resources than in windows 2000. I think I'm lucky, bnut i think the problems related with Max payne and Win Xp are caused by the Agp 4x and especially wioth nvidia cards taht use fastwrites infact if on my system put an Nvidia and try to able fastwrites Max doesen't run so think at this things I test it on other 6 Pc.

I was also scared about XP prof. But everything runs faster!!!! it rules!!

(only Red Faction won't work with windows200/xp_

My Point of View GeForce 2 GTS/PRO 64 MB works fine with WinXp and MP ! Latest NVidia drivers, 21.83!! images/icons/rolleyes.gif

And I agree with you both, everything runs great on WinXp images/icons/smile.gif , except DN3D (soundproblem) images/icons/frown.gif
