Hi,

When I want to start maxpayne.exe then a popup window opens and says "Max Payne requires a Direct X compatible display adapter"

I'm using an ATI Xpert 99/2000 Rage AGP Graphic Card with 32 MB memory and the absolutely latest driver and DirectX Version 8.1. I even tried the older driver which was recommended for Max Payne. But it didn't work

Is this card too old or not supported??? Please tell me what can I do??? I like this game so much! Does anybody know something which would help me or has experience with this problem? Please email to: Markus.Dauch@t-online.de

Thank you very very much

Yours

i think your video card may be too old..its time to upgrade to a geforce based card. get a "geforce 3 ti 200", affordable and very fast
