Need help with an error message

Exception in engineInit: Invalid data read from an R_MemoryFile("")


This hits about 9/10ths of the way through the first load screen- The screen flashes to black and then pops to the desktop with the above error.

This is piss off anoying- anyway is this the bad memory error that Remedy is talking about? Thanks

are you tring to play with another mod? i noticed when i play mp with a mod, then try to play with another or no mod at all, i get that message.

Have you tried doing a full install (835MB) of the game? If you have done that already, make sure you don't have any IDE conflicts in your system.
