Alright, I was playing around with my Creative Labs Savage4 PCI card trying to get the silly thing to work properly with Max Payne. Lemme tell you, it's a payne! But I did get it to work. Here's what you do.
You need to surf to S3's site and get the driver they provide for the savage4. Now this driver is flaky at best with everything else, but it DOES work with Max. I have had a coule of lockups while playing, especially when there are a lot of fires and stuff for it to render, but hey! Beggars can't be choosers. graemlins/hhg.gif Also to reinstall the original Creative drivers I had to boot up in safe mode. Like I said, it's flaky with everything else, but works ok for Max. Hope this helps! Oh, PCI users want the 8.20.11 driver.
