I played the first level of MP without a problem. Once i reached the second level i crashed to the desktop all the time. I upgraded every driver i could, and down-graded all the texture options and still crashed. I then realized that during the re-install of my anti-virus program the "task scheduler" was enabled again. Once disabled, MP will play with hardware T&L and all settings maxxed.
To disable "task scheduler" :
start
settings
control panel
scheduled tasks (double click)
advanced (top line - file,edit, etc)
stop using task scheduler.
Just remember to re-activate when done or to run yourtasks manually.
