Still going strong, dammit!

Just to let my fellow Max Whores know (and you know who you are), I went back and played a few levels last night (subway, Cold Steel, and Byzantine Power Game). I cannot believe my jaw was still dropping from the sheer beauty of this game, and the gameplay.

I'll die first before I get tired of it. [thinks about Max Payne 2]...... images/icons/shocked.gif ......[dies from sheer joy]

The game continues to amaze me, because though I know what happens, I'm still in love with every minute of it.

*laughing* Someday, I will begin construction on a scale statue of Max in the center of my town, where he may be admired by passers-by.... all I have to do is tear down that pesky court house. Like we need that! images/icons/tongue.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Actually, I'm pretty surprised I liked MP so well. I still play it occasionally on 'regular' mode, just to make sure I pay attention to the minor things that they coded in.... like the conversations thugs have or the strange scenery items you can dismantle with gunfire.

All in all, I'm just shocked that the game was THAT good.

I just hope that the TC I'm working on will be more of an homage-paying venture as opposed to a slap in the community's face.

PS. I just don't like jumping, so I HATE the bloodtrail parts of the dream sequences!!!

Usually, I hate jumping puzzles, but it's really first person jumping puzzles that annoy me.

Even jumping puzzles are in good taste with Max Payne! images/icons/grin.gif

THIS GAME ONLY GAVE ME A 48 HOUR ADRINALIN RUSH THAT SUCKED ME DOWN TO THE BOWLS OF SUB-COUNCHOUSNESS, AND I HAVE TASTED THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGLES; and it tastes like false wood, AND WHEN I HAD AWOKEN FROM MY SLEEP INDUCED STUPER THERE WAS A LARGE SECTION OF MY DOOR MISSING, AND I WAS SUPRISINGLY NOT HUNGRY AT ALL
