the part where that lady gives you V and he's high. i like it when he's back in the office and he reads the letter on the desk and answers the phone(X2). i love his reaction to the news. lol.

u guys know what i mean, its just befoer cold steel.

GF is required play, of course. TLJ is excellent, a magnificent epic sized adventure. But both beautiful games, great for when you want to take a break from all that running around and fragging.

And has anyone here played the Syberia demo yet? That is one of the most beautifu looking games, regardless of genre. Can't wait for it come out.

Oh, and back to the topic at hand: the entire Ragnarock level, especially on the stairs behind the stage, where you get a magnificent cutscene if you frag a baddie in a particular way.

i saw a preview for syberia. it looks really sweet.

on topic: another great part is in chapter 3 in the hotel when the baddie is watching the soap opera on TV. its too damn funny!!!!

I really dig the first time that you get a few people relatively close and you launch a molotov neatly between them.

I also thought the camera angles/cutscenes in the first 'flashback' level were really great. Added to suspense and tried to blur the line between 'game' and 'interactive movie'.

you betcha. i wish they would come out with a sequel. not with Manny but a new hero. that would be awesome. and maybe glottis could make a return.

the monkey island games were ok. i played the curse of monkey island and i have excape from monkey island. i thought the puzzles were to weird and obscure, even for a monkey island game. it was pretty funny though.

BAH! Come off it..curse of monkey island and escape from monkey island?? You have to play the first two..where the REAL creator of monkey island worked on them. They are a lot funnier and more realistic I would say..but that's not to say the other 2 aren't! Grim Fandango is a fantastic game..nothing wrong with it! Thief 1 is good, but the zombies just totally stuffed it up...

I can't wait for Max Payne 2!!!

after hearing so much Grim Fandango praise, and finding it for sale at a mere 10 dollars, i decided to purchase it a day ago. now i cant stop playing it! now i kinda wish more companies made adventure games. its such a great idea, and allows for such a wide range of interactions... sigh.
