Hehehehe...you know the old saying, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Well...I hate that rule. Because of that, I just HAAAaaaD to go and mess with something, and now I broke it.

Seriously:
I was using devkeys to slow down the game, so I could take more controlled, and nifty screenshots...but now, bullet time doesn't work! What I mean is: Max will do the stunt...the bullet-time meter goes down...but the game speed stays the same. Of course I can use Home and End to modify game speed still...but "bullet time" doesn't work like it should anymore. What'd I DO!?!? Yes, I could reinstall the game, or start back from a previous save...but that's a payne in the butt! hehe

Any ideas? (Game developers: Feel FREE to give me some input! hehe).

Thanks

The -developerkeys command line switch shouldn't have anything to do with the bullet time controls.

Have you tried resetting your controls to default? Thru the in-game "Options\Controls\Restore Defaults" setting?

Hopefully this helps.

No, no...here's the thing.
I've got developerkeys in my command line, so that I could have direct control of speed in-game...for example: I'm at a point in the game, where I know the action's gonna get hot...great chance for me to get a kewl screenshot, so I MANUALLY slow down the game speed by hitting "End" on my keyboard. THEN, once the bullets start flyin', and things start exploding, and people start bleeding...I finally FREEZE the action (without PAUSING, 'cuz then the bullets aren't rendered) by hitting the "End" key until everything stops. THEN, I'll hit "C" on my keyboard so I can move the camera around freely...Matrix style, and voila`! Wicked screenshots! BUT-every once in a while, after playing with the speed like this, things don't go back to normal. (I'm looking at my frames per second statistics when I do this) Once the gamespeed is set back to 1.00 (or something like that) all SEEMS well...until I try a shoot-dodge. Like I said: He does the stunt...it's just that things don't slow down like their' supposed to. Does everybody understand now??

Thanks.

Yeah, If you change the speed manually it no longer changes the speed automatically for bullettime.

Just speed the game back up. always works for me.if that doesn't work, switch chars(pg up, pg dn)and switch back.
