They could certainly have been implemented a lot better, as has already been discussed ad nauseum. But, I thought they were the most interesting levels in a creative sense.

I like the one in the mansion, the three bosses are really fun. How far have you people got, have you all completed the game on The hardest level? Wot about new york minute?

Lately I've been playing Max Payne again (and Hitman) and every time I load up the last two levels and watch the ending. The Aesir levels were huge and they really exercised the engine.
