Max Payne freezes

Hi guys,
i need some help. Max Payne freezes on my system at least every 5 minutes. Installed all the latest drivers, also flashed the bios and messed with the game settings. Nothing helped. Maybe somebody here can help me !
System : Athlon 850,256 MB Ram, 30 Gb hd, 128 bit Creative SB, S4 pro AGP Videocard (32 MB), Win 98

(Pentium 4, Geforce 3, Sb LIve 5.1, 256MB RAM,WINME)

what chipset do u have on your motherboard..
try getting the latest drivers and see if that fixes it. it worked for me .

Yeah been there done that !!! Didn´t work :-(

P.S. Got a Tekram board with the Via KX 133 Chipset
