PC Gamer did say that a Max Payne the movie was going to hit the big screens in Winter 2003, I was wondering if this is true, is it?

Yeah. You should be able to find a bunch of threads on this if you use the search function of these forums.

Who do you think should play the part of Max Payne in the movie.

The guy who played the main charater in Hellraiser 5: Inferno should play Max. He looks and sounds just like Max Payne.
Its the only reason I'd recomend that movie.

I remember him from "Viper", and he doesn't sound much like Max Payne at all to me.

It could always be computer generated like Final Fantasy or Starship Troopers the series.

Everyone knows that the Max Payne movie is going to be a two-and-half hour graphic novel sequence... images/icons/rolleyes.gif
yes, but as the images that closely resemble each other flip in rapid succsession, the film makers give the impression of movement...
Where's my Max Payne comic book? images/icons/smile.gif

I think the guy that plays Foster on First Wave roughly looks and sounds like Max Payne if they wanted a guy with the package of Payne.

I think they should have had the actor playing the Max Payne in the Game Film Strips, they should use him. The game was technically based on him.

That's Sam Lake (http://www.3drealms.com/camera/062802.html) , who wrote the Max Payne story.
