View Full Version : Been nearly a year since the Payne, your thoughts?

*sighs happily* Has it really been a year?

It has remained at the top of my favorite games list ever since its release. *hugs Max Payne box* I spent every last dime I had to purchase it, and not once do I regret doing so.

Max Payne 2 - I wait patiently for its arrival....

Well, I'm just mad that I waited so long to be involved with it. I was happy just booting it up and shooting a few people now and then....

Now I find myself watching movies and saying 'interesting camera work... how would we code that?' or walking down the street and saying 'ah... that's what my brick wall texture is missing'.

Max Payne will always be one of my favorite games. Sequels can be good, but I'd rather enjoy what I have now as opposed to waiting for something that may or may not be what I want it to.

On July 25, 2001 Max Payne hit the shelves. As i remember it sold out pretty quick, i came by compusa early in the day and they already had 1 copy left. So what are your opinions on the game? The hype, the gameplay, the reviews, mods, everything. And do you think Max Payne 2 will break Max Payne 1? I still find myself wondering around shooting people even now days in the game.

It's not a cardboard cutout, it's just a piece of paper I printed his picture on... Heh heh.

I just got Max Payne about 4 weeks ago on PlayStation 2! I just beat the game, and I still play it all the time. Everything about the game is great! I would get it on PC, but am just not a PC gamer.

As for Max Payne 2, I just hope they port the game over to the consoles. images/icons/grin.gif
