I got an idea while playing the game through again... some of the lines really don't make sense, and should be fixed. I'll start it off, post some! images/icons/grin.gif

"He was dead. I could tell by the cold, accusing stare in his eyes. The huge bullet hole in the back of his head pouring blood out on the subway floor didn't hurt that hypothesis, either."

"the sun set with practiced bavado...not that i could tell. i was already inside."

"no minotaur lurked in this labyrinth, just more of those damned italians i'd fought the last 10 levels."

"he could run, but with a bullet like a broken bottle of tabasco in his side, he was quickly running out of time. his only chance was to kick my ass while i stand around coming up with overly corny lines."

The station was drenched in gloom, and Alex was a ghost nowhere to be seen... I'd have to call GhostBusters!

The gate was locked... Alex wouldn't have set up a meeting in an empty subway unless he was going to kill me.

The pills would ease the pain, as long as nobody else shot me.

The hooker's diary lay on the desk, begging me to read it... So I obliged.

Those are such classic film noir lines... All film noir movies have lines like these

"I was overwhelmed with the stupidity, I touched the gun by my side, I felt the feeling of cold metal at my finger tips. I pulled it out slowly, with reluctance, but rage and frustration scraped at my mind with endless grief, and so, I let go of my self-doubt, and pulled out my gun with ease. With great fury, I shot several times to the heads of my fellow 3D Realms Forum Members. It was all in a time unspoken, unimagined by man. I saw the blood spraying ubiquitously and the bone fragments revolving and rotating in mid-air and then they struck the ground and shattered into more fragments. I then took one more final shot. I let go of my gun. It fell to the ground, beside the corpse of myself."

Don't worry, I am not crazy, I'm just making a film noire sentence. everything in there I did not mean it.

Indeed. I told leikkuri to use Ronald as the new skin in his "Dodged It" mod because of that picture, but to no avail.

It should be a mod all by itself, man! images/icons/grin.gif

When Neo was working on the XBox version of the game, the sentence "sun set with practised bravado" became sort of an inside joke at their office and they kept varying it to almost any situation. For example, when Visual Studio would crash, instead of swearing a programmer would calmly turn around, look at his colleague and go "...the compiler went down with practised bravado."

That totally cracked me up when we were visiting their office images/icons/smile.gif
