My computer freezes when I exit

Hey,

When I quit Max Payne, 98% of the time it locks up, the square that says Max Payne v1.01 or somthing is there and its black. My desktop icons dont load either. When I do Ctrl+Alt+Delete it says Explorer is not responding and then I just manually shut my computer off and restart. Its not too bad but gosh its damn annoying having to restart every damn time you quit. Also, shutting down all the other programs dot seem to have an effect..

hi this is my first time on this forum but your problem is quite easy to solve ,go to your control panel in your start up menu and double click on sounds and multimedia in the next square click audio and change your sound card from ac97
or what ever it is to game compatible,thats it you
should not have a problem when you exit the game if you do tell me .
