Max Payne exits randomly

I just installed Max Payne, and whenever i try to play either the tutorial, or the normal game, it just exits after it loads.I don't know what to do, i'm really pissed because i just bought the game.Can anyone help me please? images/icons/frown.gif

No, i bought it, but i got it working, all it needed was the patch.
