Too damn dark

Why in the hell is the game play so damn dark? I need fricken night vision goggles. Is there any way to brighten the game play? If I closed my eyes, I think I might play just as well, if not better. Help Me out here ya'll.

Run Max Payne.

Options>Visual

Turn the Brightness up. graemlins/doh.gif

If that fails adjust the gamma on your moniter get adobe photshop for this (comes with a Gamma changing plugin)
