Wow, that's really good. Nice use of lighting, and the model isn't bad either. He has a very cartoony look to him. http://forums.3drealms.com/ubb/icons/icon107.gif

I thought the level was pretty good actually... images/icons/confused.gif
As for the skin: - I like the outfit, but I'm not too sure about the face - it sort of breaks the consistancy of the rest of the model. Still, it's early days - it'll be interesting to see it develop.
Keep up the good work. images/icons/smile.gif

Mapping is quite impresive. images/icons/smile.gif ... and..uh.. i am looking for a mapper for my MOD, EOTD, if you get my drift...
Wow Great Work! Tone down the characters teeth a bit and it'll look great.

thank you for you comments,
the style is baised off an anime called Hellsing
and so is the character so iam going for the kind of anime style. gouls and the main character are still very early, i am still working on it and everthing else right now
the lvl is about 75% done really just want to finish it to move on , its my first one so i dont think its that bad considering the sorce material.
as for the teeth it needs more tweaking but the big grin is part of the characters peronality.
Kev_Hectic i ve included some screens for the lvl geometry in this link easy to see how i did it.

You know, after looking at those pics again I have one question to ask you, How did you make those hills in the background? I'm trying to make an outdoor level with a similar kind of terrain, but I’m having any luck.

Looks good. images/icons/smile.gif
By the way, how did you manage to export through 3dsmax v4? Through Milkshape 3D or something else? images/icons/confused.gif

all the modeling is being done in 3d studio
exported to kf2 imported to milkshape where i tweak the smothing groups and assign to the bones. i also use milkshape for making new animations.

Ah, that explains that then. But why use Milkshape for animation when you've got 3ds? images/icons/confused.gif

the model is just a test to see if i could actually get anying into max payne. All I did is replace the head and modifed the original make payne body and texture as a text, until i finish texutureing my own model, soon i hope
as for the glasses i am going to make them reflective like the guns. i didnt model the eyes.
