Where is the key in the first part in the building?

I've already done that, the bottle just blows up.

^It blows the upstairs door up, which allows you to reach the switch that opens another area up.

I just finished playing this (moved back to university today, so I thought I'd take advantage of the connection speed) and it's very good; however, I have a couple of comments.
First off, the cut scenes were particularly impressive; but the frame rate seemed to suffer quite considerably. Perhaps there were too many things occurring on screen at any one time during the opening. Even so, it was quite fantastic to watch.
However, my main complaint was that the difficulty level seemed to be a bit steep - particularly in the first five minutes of the 'proper' level. The enemies at the beginning seemed to be too well equipped compared to Max's lowly Berettas.
You are probably aware of this, but some of the doors seemed to be quite a nuisance. 90% of them opened in the wrong direction, and a few of them were frustratingly slow to open. Seeing as there is quite a bit of backtracking involved, I would have considered putting multi-direction doors in a number of places.
Other than that, the level was exceptionally good - for a user-made level. The path was interesting, the cut scenes worked well, and dynamic objects were used effectively too. You could have had Max appear at the end, though - it looked like he got wasted in the explosion, but we'll never know.
Excellent work, I look forward to playing the next one. images/icons/smile.gif

You're shooting the wrong canister - there are two.
There is one on the platform near garage door; but there is also one laying on its side, on the balcony thing (words fail me at 1:40 am graemlins/doh.gif images/icons/frown.gif ) - near the guy who lobs a molotov at you.

Thanks, I beat it. Also, I agree w/ Maddieman. Max should walk out at the end, nice choice of music and cam angle however.

You have to walk a lot further. It's not in the warehouse. You have to shoot the gas bottle which lays on higher ground in the 2nd part of the warehouse. After that the door will blow out.
The rest is up to you images/icons/smile.gif If you get stuck again, post it in this forum and we will help you out.
good luck

Thx for the comments
The intro movie has a GlobalGameSpeed of 0.8, we noticed to late (after we uploaded the mod) that's also why it seems to lag at the beginning. images/icons/frown.gif
Excellent work, I look forward to playing the next one. <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">This level was made 1 year ago, at this moment we know a lot more then what we had used in ''Fighting The War''. images/icons/grin.gif As I already can tell is, that what you played and have seen in the intro movie of ''Fighting The War'' is nothing compared with our upcoming mod ''Fighting The Machines'' (it's just a warning) images/icons/grin.gif
