Is it just me or all the members in Max Payne were never involved in Death Rally?

Remedy was a smaller company when they made Death Rally. I'd have to break out the credit lists for both games to see who was around for both, but I know most of the Remedy prinicipals were there for both titles.

OK, I went and scanned in the credits page from Death Rally & Max Payne. Here they are. Check it out for yourself.

The image for Max Payne is fairly wide, so I'm just posting this as a URL (so it doesn't blow up the forum formatting).

Actually, there's another 3 pages or so of credits for Max, but they're mostly the voice talent and folks from 3D Realms and whatnot. These two pages are the Remedy folks.

Joe, you took the infamous credit listing from Death Rally where some knowledgeable party (publisher) annihilated the Finnish names... images/icons/smile.gif

Just a couple of days ago we were actually laughing at the horrible spelling on the Death Rally credits...

For some reason it is almost impossible for the publishers to spell the Finnish names correctly. Even when we have written the names to them first. graemlins/doh.gif

Mika: Don't you guys have any control over the manual? Or is just the Publisher side that organises that.. that must have pissed you guys off heaps.

With Max we pretty much wrote all the text to the manual, as well as the credits for Remedy (each company put in their own credits). But the publisher had the master file out of which the manual was made. And I am not kidding if I say that we edited the manual about 12 times over before it was accepted (by us). Truly a painful process... graemlins/mryuck.gif

Even when we have written the names to them first. graemlins/doh.gif LOL when I was in high school each year I hoped they would spell my finnish last name correctly in the year book images/icons/rolleyes.gif It never ceased to amaze me how they only got it right once graemlins/doh.gif the spelling variations were quite amusing though. Thank god my parents decided to give me a simple first name images/icons/grin.gif

Kim Salvo, should be Kim Salo
Samsa Virtanen, should be Sampsa Virtanen
Samuli Syvahouko, should be Samuli Syvahuoko
Marcus Stein, should be Markus Stein

Some proofreading would've been nice :-)
