i am trying to add the bazaka kind of weapon from the regeneration beta mod to normal max payne. but when i packed it up and ran it with max payne it wont show up, all that shows up is the old m79.and when i fire it it will freeze the game.so what the hell do i do??????

^ I'm not an expert on this but did you include everything for the Bazooka from the mod? Or did you just include the stuff from the weapons folder. There might have been things you've missed like .TXT files or stuff that has to do with Max's animation, I'm not sure what though but look around. This looks like a Maddie question.

yeah im pretty sure i got everything from the old mod and put it in it's coressponding place in the new one but stil it wont render the new weapon,instead it will show up the old m79 and when i fire the gun it freezes the game..so if some one can help me(maddieman) just post it and i will obey... images/icons/confused.gif

Well the thing is that you can edit the M79 model, BUT when you fire it it tries to play the weapons projectile animation, and since the original modder most likly made a new projectile txt file, it won't work. However, import it into MAX4 and the export it may help fix it. If that doesn't work then copy the bazooka's projectile txt and name it bullet_m79.txt

If all else fails then just edit the original M79 and retexture it. BUT DO NOT add anything to the model, otherwise you run into the same problem. If you have trouble just e-mail me the texture and a pic of what you want the weapon to look like.
