hmmmm not quite sure what you mean, but just make a cylinder; stacks = 1 & slices = 8... slices could be more if you want but you have to balance w/ performance vs looks, 8 is fine for MP.

I doesnt need to be "snapped" to the body of the gun; it can be a separate mesh.

Then you have to texture it and export it to .kf2 mesh form images/icons/wink.gif

Well, it depends on how you have the model set up and in which program.

Usually, attaching or grouping the silencer with the frame/receiver of the weapon is enough to get the job done. However, depending on how you/the creator made the weapon, you might have to do some editing.

Since I don't know exactly which program and version of it you're using, this will be extremely general.

If it was a pre-made model and the silencer lines up with the gun on a flat plane but moves when you target in circles, it's a problem with the pivot point of the silencer. Sometimes attaching/grouping with the frame is enough, and other times, you have to edit the pivot point of the weapon. Check your programs documentation/helpfile on how to move pivot points.

If you're having problems with the silencer lining up at all, theres a possibility that the silencer mesh itself is problematic... that or it's not lined up right. Try the above or junk the mesh and make a fresh one.

Have you tried attaching/grouping the silencer to the frame of the gun? Have you tried moving the pivot point of the silencer? Fill me in with more info and I'll try to help.

geesh man, now im on the spot. im sort of a quarter done on it. its hard to do it and keep all of kf3 abilitys and the staff. why you ask because i made a sweet ass saber and i have to redo all the stuff for a whole new weapon and keep the staff from kf3. but it will be cool. i made some sword anim that resembles zorro or the 3 mus. but frankly as a first mod for max(first from me at least) it will be farily good. images/icons/grin.gif

Not a problem man... it's all about the baby steps. Take time, do your mod right, and do it for your own enjoyment.

where did the mp5k come from in the first place? why don't you just talk to the person who made it?
