Hey it's Bushido. I've been in the Payne forums for quite some time. When Max Payne was nearing release we could barely contain ourselves. Topics were popping up everywhere. When the game came out there were even more topics posted (some good, some bad images/icons/grin.gif ) about it. Well time passed and the forums here slowed down since we'd all beaten the game like 5 times (make that 7 for me!) So anyways, I'd like to hear a big shout out to Remedy just to let them know that we're still here and waiting for Max Payne 2!

Thanks, Remedy, for making such a cool game. I don't know why, but its single-player campaign just doesn't get old. Only a few other games, like NOLF, can brag that as well. Most games get horrifically boring after beating them only once or twice.

I've played Max Payne about 6 times through and love it more everytime! That's not counting the amount of times I've played through a single level like the parking garage...

I think The sequel will push the boundries of cinematic action which was already set by the first game. Dead to Rights came close, but fell apart because of the weird control scheme and its stupid "we're every game rolled into one" gameplay.

I Love Max Payne!

I only just discovered it... and couldn't understand what all the fuss was about until I played it - Its fantastic!

Every aspect is perfect.... The bullet time, the attention to detail, the story is EXCELLENT, all the little touches like the 'twin peaks' esque program on the TV (that was very cool) the gameplay is just so fun.

Max Payne has just overtaken System Shock 2 as my favourite game (it has been for more than 2 years)... and from looking around the site I can see that there are some familiar names from there too =)

I am looking forward to the sequel to max payne, I HAVE to know what happens... I Need Closure!

I can't quite remember what led to the creation of these. I think it had something to do with a picture of you kissing your Max Payne box, and I created a little comic to demonstrate you in a controlling relationship with the Max Payne box.

Please note the file names of the 3 panels. I actually made 10, fleshed out into a little mini-epic. images/icons/shocked.gif
I asked Vyperfire's opinion as to if they contained a suitable level of "teh funny", and apparently only my sleep-addled mind found them cohesive/funny. So only those 3 made it to public viewing. The others were burned in a hard drive crash last fall, I surmise. Oh well.

Ok, it's a bit crap because I did it in half an hour ( images/icons/tongue.gif ). I doubt I'll do a full model; but I will clean the texture up a bit.

Incidentally, the resolution of the face map texture is 3000x3000, using a very hi-resolution picture that Joe took of himself with a digital camera. While it doesn't cause slowdown, it created a very nasty black line on the forehead. I'll have to see if I can fix it.

I’ve seen a similar dream not long ago. Max in it escapes from prison. Then he fights smwh like Deep Six or so. But an enemy doesn’t shoot at Max directly, he shoots at the wall, and bullets reach Max by case-shot. I cant do the same and cant shoot him since there is a wall between us.
