Since I'm hooked on Max Payne on the puter,I'm going to buy either a XBOX or PS2 to play MP when I'm out of town.Which is the best???? Tnanks

I haven't played either, but I'm guessing the XBox one is the better of the two, because of the systems better hardware.

If you want to be able to save the game anytime (and not just between levels), get the XBox version. It also looks better.

However, if you're dissatisfied with the currently not-so-big selection of games available for the XBox, get a PS2.

Get a laptop - the pc version of Max is better than either console version, since you can play my mod on it.

The PC version can use mods and addons that you can't do with the Xbox or the PS2 version.

However, if PC isn't an option, I'd choose Xbox personally.

Definitely Xbox. Although I don't like Microsoft, I like Sony even less. Besides, the hardware is so much better.

Get the GBC version! <font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hmm... My port to the Atari 2600 (http://killer.maxpayneheadquarters.com/ataripayne.jpg) doesn't look very good in comparison.

It was going to be gba version, but I decided that there were too few colours.

Anyway, your nes version's resolution is too high, also.

At least this is the way a sceen shot comes off of any nes emulator. I think most nes games have higher resolution then Snes games. Take an emulated screenshot of Super Metroid and compare it to an emulated screen of Zelda 1, the Zelda screen comes out much larger...

I think I added too many colours anyway...

And yeah, enough nitpicking images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Hmm...I think thats to do with the particular emulator you're using - but who cares?

I thought I'd let you know that you've won the "Name that mod" competition - check the modding forums for more detail.

Dammit, if there was a gamecube version Id get it. I prefer playing games on consoles. PC's have become to troublesome for me. Anything for an easy life.
