Max Payne deserves BAFTA award!

I haven't heard about the BAFTA award until now, but if such an award has the same value like an Oscar for a top movie then it's a very special honour. I'm glad and I'm happy for 3DR and Remedy for developing a great game. images/icons/smile.gif

I wanted to say this. In the past I wasn't a fan of third-person-shooters, but Max Payne showed me how cool such games can become. I'm so hooked playing third-person and modding for Max Payne that I forgot about all the latest FPS titles like e.g. Red Faction or Aliens vs. Predator 2.

Out of the nominees, I think Max Payne is a valid choice. BAFTA didn't give Max Payne the "Perfect PC Game" award, it gave it "Best PC Game." Despite certain reasonable criticisms, in terms of overall quality, it's hard to deny that Max Payne belongs in this year's elite.
I also agree that Max Payne changed some minds about third-person shooters, including mine.
