i was wondering how do i check the poly count in 3ds max! and how do i skin a weapon in 3ds max! thank you!~ end message!

1. Right click on an object, and select properties. It should list the poly count there.

1> You can also go to File->Summary Info.There u'll find the list of meshes used in the Scene,each of their polygon and vertex counts.
2> First put on the "UVW Map" modifier probably planar to the left or right viewport.Then you have to add the "Unwrap UVW" modifier.You can learn how to unwrap UVW from the usual tutorials and help files of 3d Studio Max.

THANKS GUYS! my buddy quit on me so now i have to do all my skinnig my self! i use to only have to design the weapons and then he would optomise them and skin! but i should have learned earlier,then now! instead of reling on someone else!
