Isn't there a way of extracting the graphic novel from the Max Payne story?!?!

Help appreciated...

Install the Max-FX tools and extract the x_level1.ras - x_level3.ras files via RasMaker.
No big deal. Use the command prompt. Type 'rasmaker.exe -x x_level1.ras' and the data will be extracted to the current folder (sub-directories included).

Then go to ...\Max Payne\data\database\graphicnovelpages\part..\textu res

^What a great idea. images/icons/smile.gif

Incidentally, I have the entire contents of Max Payne's data file extracted. So if anyone wants a particular graphic novel image, or dialogue soundbite; and doesn't fancy mucking around with rasmaker, let me know. images/icons/smile.gif

I did that and made myself a slideshow screensaver of the graphic novel. Added some of the music to it and voila!

I did the same slideshow screensaver thing with my Penny Arcade archive.

I also made a Max Payne screensaver, but deleted it... graemlins/doh.gif
