Hi, everyone.

Is there a way of combining two skin textures (eg, a body texture and face_male28) together on the default skeleton.

I am trying to change Max's skin, but I'm not too worried about any fancy melee animations.

Also how can you draw rounded objects in Max Ed rather than square or rectangle?

Also, I have tried to get my mod to work with weapons and this error message emerges:

you screwed with the phyc or whatever txt so put the original back in and it will be honky dorey! images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/tongue.gif

Remove all references to that weapon in the directories

it may be a psych text in your weapons folder, or level_items folder. Make sure there are no slot id's or weapon id's for it either.

You have to draw circles by hand the same way you do rectangles. There is no thing to do it easy like Bezier curves because that would mean to much polygons and thus screw down framerate.

Thanks everyone, but now it says that the translation of max_payne.txt failed because the Single Jump state machine was defined before something else.

This is annoying.

Thanks if you can tell what's causing this.

I think it means in one of the jump animations you left a

"FACEID_TEXTURE" thigie...i don't know...right...now....?

I think u r referring to mapping.

But if u r not....

I do know that only enemies use the statemachine the function, if u insert it into max_payne.txt (or any player skin) it won't work and the game will error.

But the cutscene max (enemy_maxpayne etc..) I think you CAN use the statemachine function for it because it's only used for scenes/maps.

You have to be more descriptive, about your errors and what u did to get them because I'm not a mapper.

No it isn't possible. But you can (just to let you know) change models per level (levels.txt file).
